Donate to Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship

The Invest in Kids tax credit scholarship (TCS) program allows you to make a gift designated for scholarships for Northside Catholic Academy students and receive a 75% of that gift returned to you as in Illinois state income tax credit, not a deduction. At NCA, 30% of our families receive financial aid to attend our school. We want to raise enough funds to provide a scholarship to all qualified students, and we need your help.

 

More than 11,000 scholarships have been awarded since the program began in 2017. However, many students remain on wait lists hoping that a scholarship will help fund their Catholic school education. No donation is too large or small.

 

Through this program:

    • An individual receives a 75% state tax credit on donations. For example, if a person donates $10,000, they will receive a state tax credit of $7,500.
    • Individual donors can support a Catholic school of their choice or all of the Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Schools.
    • The credit may be rolled over for five years.

 

Double Your Impact!

Take advantage of a 1-for-1 Matching Program and donate to the scholarship program between Dec. 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023, or until all matched funds are depleted (whichever comes first). Matched donations are capped at $75,000 per school and other limitations apply. Donors who would like to receive the tax credit for their 2022 taxes should begin the process prior to Dec. 15, 2022, to ensure they have enough time to make their gift by the end of the year.
