Northside Catholic Academy (NCA) is a leading Catholic school on the North Side of Chicago and part of the Archdiocese of Chicago. NCA is proud to be a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School. We serve families in the neighborhoods of Andersonville, Edgewater, Rogers Park, West Ridge, Uptown, and beyond.
We welcome students from ages 3 through 8th grade and offer a strong and well-rounded curriculum with our graduates attending the city's top schools. Our teaching is based on Catholic values and supports our mission: to educate minds that think, hearts that love, and hands that serve.
At NCA, students learn through fun and engaging activities that make learning exciting and meaningful. They explore science by doing hands-on projects like building solar-powered models, bring history to life by creating a “Wax Museum” of important historical figures, express themselves by reciting original poems at our Poetry Slam, and show their creativity through 3D art installations. Along with academics, we teach values that last a lifetime—kindness, respect, curiosity, creativity, responsibility, leadership, compassion, and service.
