Parent involvement

The NCA Parent Organization (NCAPO) supports a school culture that is welcoming, respectful, nurturing, and compassionate. Parents and caregivers are essential partners in living out that mission and in helping every student—and the school itself—thrive.

Why parents and caregivers matter

  • Academic success: Your involvement boosts your child’s learning
  • School growth: Parent energy, ideas, and volunteer time power many of NCA’s improvements
  • Community strength: Families often name “community” as the #1 thing they love about NCA

What NCAPO does
Our goal is to connect parents, faculty, and administration, to enrich student life, and keep communication flowing.

  • Plans community events such as the Wildcat Street Fest, Field Day, Trivia Night, and Family dances
  • Coordinates with room parents for classroom needs
  • Hosts fundraisers (Dine-Out nights and Give‑Back days) that fund teacher gifts and campus upgrades
  • Encourages community involvement between parents, staff, administration and students

NCAPO mission statement

The NCAPO is a parent and caregiver volunteer organization that fosters engagement by bringing our families, faculty, and administration together to create a place that invites, inspires, and strengthens community involvement. Rooted in the belief that engagement makes our school a better place, we work to support our teachers and staff in their academic enrichment, encourage family togetherness, and plan social events that positively impact both our school and the broader community while supporting and aligning with the school's values and mission.
