Extended Care Associate (Part-Time)

Northside Catholic Academy is seeking a dependable, caring individual to join our After Care team. This position helps provide a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for students in Pre-K through 8th grade at the end of the school day. Compensation: $18–$20 per hour (depending on experience; no benefits included).

Schedule

  • Wednesdays: 2:20–5:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays: 2:50–5:00 p.m.
  • Fridays: 2:50–5:00 p.m.

Position Summary
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and collaborating with others. This position requires the ability to:

  • Supervise and engage with active children in Pre-K through 8th grade
  • Work collaboratively as part of a four-person After Care team
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Lift items as needed
  • Help maintain a safe, positive and organized environment

This role will lead an organized and impactful recruitment and review process—from initial outreach through registration and onboarding of accepted students—while also supporting student retention. Candidate will also manage our FACTS SIS and Tuition Management systems.

Evening Custodian (Part-Time)

Northside Catholic Academy is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to
maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This
position is responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, hallways, restrooms,
offices, and common areas after the school day has ended.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize classrooms, including:
    ○ Empty trash and replace liners
    ○ Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed
    ○ Wipe and disinfect desks, tables, counters, and high-touch surfaces
    ○ Clean whiteboards, sinks, and classroom fixtures
  • Clean and disinfect student and staff restrooms.
  • Vacuum carpets and clean hard-surface floors throughout the building.
  • Clean hallways, stairwells, entryways, offices, faculty lounges, and other common spaces.
  • Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Lock windows, turn off lights, and help secure the building at the end of each shift, following school procedures.
  • Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to administration.
  • Use cleaning products and equipment safely according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Assist with occasional special cleaning projects during school breaks or before special events, as requested.
  • Maintain a professional, respectful, and positive attitude while working in the school community.

Qualifications

  • Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending,
    reaching, standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully complete a background check and comply with all school safe-environment requirements.
