Northside Catholic Academy is seeking a caring, responsible Extended Care Associate to support our after-school program for students in Pre-K through 8th grade.

Position Details

• Days: Monday–Friday (on regular school days only)
• Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:00–6:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 2:30–6:00 p.m.
• $18–$20 per hour (no benefits included)

Position Summary

The Extended Care Associate works as part of a team of 2–3 staff members to supervise and engage students after school until they are picked up by parents/guardians. Group sizes range from approximately 30–60 students, with many students in 1st grade and below. This role includes leading and participating in activities, helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and supporting the routines of the extended care program.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students in Pre-K–8th grade in a safe, caring, and structured environment
  Engage students in age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, homework time, indoor/outdoor play, etc.)
• Support positive behavior and model respectful interactions
• Monitor student transitions during pick-up time and ensure students go home with authorized adults
• Collaborate with other extended care staff to maintain a clean, organized space
• Follow school policies, procedures, and schedules aligned with the NCA school calendar
