Maintenance Supervisor (Full-Time)

Northside Catholic Academy is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to care for and support the daily operations of our school facilities. This is an important role in our community—ensuring that our classrooms, shared spaces, and grounds are safe, clean, and ready for students to learn and grow each day.

About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall upkeep of our school buildings and grounds. This includes monitoring and maintaining essential systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fire/life safety), performing routine repairs, coordinating with outside vendors, and supporting seasonal needs like snow removal and landscaping.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor building systems to ensure safe, efficient operation
• Perform routine repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Coordinate and oversee work with outside contractors and service providers
• Manage groundskeeping, including sidewalks, play areas, and parking spaces
• Support setup and cleanup for school and parish events
• Ensure a clean, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors
• Assist with safety procedures and respond to facility-related needs as they arise

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Working knowledge of building systems and general repair across trades
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Northside Catholic Academy is seeking a caring and efficient part-time Enrollment Coordinator to collaborate with and be accountable to the Principal. This role will lead an organized and impactful recruitment and review process—from initial outreach through registration and onboarding of accepted students—while also supporting student retention.
