Lacrosse
Girls Lacrosse Grades 5-8
$100 registration for all girls grades 5-8. Registration fee includes uniform, use of school-owned stick, goggles, and carrying bag. Players are responsible for cleats and mouth guard. Cleats are recommended but tennis shoes are also fine. Late registrations incur a $50 fee and are at the coach’s discretion.We never want any child to not join a team because of the cost. NCA fields two teams. One team for grades 5-6 and one team for grades 7-8. The season runs early-April to late May. Practices begin after basketball season ends (mid-March). One or two practices per week. March practices are indoors in one of our gyms. Outdoor practices are at a nearby park.
Games are played on Sundays, 12-5pm at various suburban fields and the lakefront near Montrose Beach/Cricket Hill.
Boys Lacrosse Grade 7-8
$125 registration for all boys grades 7-8. Registration fee includes uniform. Players are responsible for purchasing their own equipment which includes a helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, cleats, a stick, and mouthguard. Equipment costs will average around $250 with the biggest cost being the helmet and stick. Late registrations incur a $50 fee and are at the coach’s discretion.
